In the Summer of 2006, Mr. Martell was a member of the teaching faculty of the Bel Canto Institute and was a teacher of Singing at their Summer Program in Florence, Italy. Currently, He has Joined the the vocal teaching faculty of the Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Vietri sul Mare, Italy and looks forward to teaching there the summer of 2007.

In addition to Mr. Martell’s leadership as Artistic/Executive Director, the NYOP has an active and diverse board of directors who are very proud of the project’s past performances and are looking forward to continuing to offer a musical organization to the community that provides a showcase for vocal excellence in an affordable and accessible environment. The board is very committed to the future of NYOP and in the long-term work of this new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. They look forward to working with all of you in this new enterprise.
